Monkey Hook—Raw

After buying the right rubber fish, the next question is which jig head is the right one. The manufacturer's sizes vary and finding the right size is therefore often not easy. Only the right combination of rubber fish and jig head makes the bait perfect. That's why we developed the Monkey Lures Hook - Jig head.

For this purpose, not just an off-the-shelf hook was chosen, but tested and experimented for a long time. In addition to the right size and sharpness of the hook, the shape is also crucial. Two different shapes are very common on the market, a round hook and a square hook. Both have their advantages and bring with them their justification. The round arch ensures optimal power distribution and thus offers sufficient power for big fish. It is also gentler on the fish because there are fewer stab wounds. The kink in the square hook ensures that the rubber fish stays on the hook better and does not slip when cast out. Due to the steep exit of the hook, the shad remains flexible and the predators can suck in the bait more easily.

By combining both forms, we have succeeded in developing the perfect hook . Ultra sharp and powerful without restricting the movement of the bait. Of course, we also used a high arch during development. The tip of the hook sits significantly higher than the eyelet. The hook thus protrudes far enough out of the bait and thus offers optimal conditions for setting the hook in the fish's mouth. The eyelet sits directly on the jig head with every weight, so the probability of catching annoying weed is significantly reduced. We deliberately did without a lead nose and opted for a bait holder. Our Monkey Hook is therefore suitablealso for sensitive baits, as they no longer burst open. The bait holder also ensures that the rubber fish sits securely on the hook and reliably prevents the bait from being pulled off during the cast and bite. The weight can be seen on each jig head, making it easier to sort in tackle boxes.
